Web giant Google recently launched its new Flights Search Feature. Now when you search for flight information on Google.com (USA only), for example ‘flights from san francisco to new york‘, you will see a ‘Flights’ link in the left-hand panel. Clicking on the link leads to a new Flight Search feature.
It’s got an impressive, easy-to-use interface and it also includes powerful filtering tools to help you find tickets matching preferences like non-stop, duration, price and a tool to help you find the cheapest flight by duration.
Google said that these results are free of any commercial ties Google has to travel companies. Once the flight a user wants is found, Google Flights sends the traveller to the website of the airline that sells the ticket. The service will even match the search results to the specific page at the airline booking site where the ticket can be purchased.

The feature isn’t completely finished yet, as it’s only available in the US and only includes a limited number of US cities as well as show results for round-trip economy-class flights only.
You can access direct to Google Flights…. Try it out and share with us your thoughts.
